He talks about the challenge and difference in recruiting for his former clients, typically large corporations, to hiring for his startup.
“Instead of hiring more people like the original team and me, I did not want to fall into the trap that most CEOs of startups fall into, which is they keep hiring more of the same. So they never go from the startup phase to a phase of scaling. Going from $0m to $1m is a different team and company culture than $1m to $10m.”
